RESOLUTION N0. 77
A RESOLUTION OF RECOMMENDATION TO AUThiORIZE
M08ILE FOOD VENDORS AS CONDITIONAL USES IN C-3, C-4 AND C-5 ZONES
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 17.60.140 provides that the Planning Com-
mission may rule that a use not specifically named as an allowed use in a district
is included in the uses far that district; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point received a request to make a determina-
tion for the appropriate location for mobile food vendors; and
WHERERS, mobile food vendors are similar to other conditional use food esta-
blishments allowed in C-3, C-4 and C-5 zones; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that mobile food vendors are a
use not specifically named in the examples of allowed uses in the commercial zone
districts, and finds further that mobile food vendors are similar to other condi-
tional use fond establishments allowed in C-3, C-4 and C~-5 zones.
Section 2. Mobile food vendors are hereby recommended to be ruled to be
allowed as conditional uses as shown for the following commercial zones:
C-3; conditional use; 17.40.030, N.
C-4; conditional use; 17.44.030, 16.
C-5; conditional use; 17.46.030, J.
