RESOLUTION NO. 76
A RESOLUTION OF RECOMMENDATION TO THE CENTRAL POINT CITY COUNCIL
FOR ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS PARCELS OF PROPERTY COMMONLY REFERRED
TO AS THE RUSTIC MOBILE HOME PARK, 2161 TAYLOR ROAD, AND TO WITHDRAW
SUCH PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT N0. 3, BEAR CREEK
VALLEY SANITARY AUTHORITY AND ROGUE VALLEY TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City of Central Point requesting
and consenting to the annexation of the following described parcels of real property
contiguous to the City of Central Point by Gentry E. McKinney, the owner of the land
further described as Jackson County Assessors Map Pages 37 2W 10BA, Tax Lots 200 and
600, the total of which contains approximately 5.42 acres, and
WHEREAS, if annexed, said property will be withdrawn from Jackson County Fire
District No. 3, Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority and Rogue Va11ey Transportation
District, and
WHEREAS, notices of public meeting held September 6, 1983 were published in
the Medford Mail Tribune on August 26, 1983 and September 2, 1983, and pasted in four
public places on August 19, 1983, and
WHEREAS, on September 6, 1983, a review of the proposed annexation was held
before the Central Point Planning Commission and opportunity for testimony from pro-
ponents and opponents was provided at said public meeting; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION A5 FOLLOWS:
That the Planning Commission of the City of Central Point, Oregon, adopts the
findings of fact attached hereto as Exhibit 6, and recommends that the City Council
approve the annexation of property described in the 1ega1 description attached hereto
as Exhibit 2 and the withdrawal of said property from Jackson County Fire District
No. 3, Bear Creek Va11ey Sanitary Authority and Rogue Va11ey Transportation District.
Passed by the Planning Commission and signed by me in authentication of its
passage this sixth day of September, 1983.
