RESOLUTION N0. 66
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RETAIL AUTO PARTS SALES
AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN A C-4 ZONE
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 17.60.140 provides that the Plan-
Wing Commission may rule that a use not specifically named as an allowed
use in a district be included in the uses for that district; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point received a request to make a
determination for allowing retail auto parts sales in a C-4 zone; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point Planning Commission determined
retail auto parts sales to be similar in use to items listed as Conditional
Uses in Municipal Code Section 17.44.030; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION A5 FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission -finds that retail auto parts
sales are not specifically named in the examples of allowed uses in a C~4
zone, and finds -further that retail auto parts sales are similar in use to
items listed as Conditional Uses in a C-4 zone.
SECTION 2. Retail auto parts sales are hereby ruled to be a
Conditional Use in C-4 Tourist and Office - Professional District, City of
Central Point Municipal Code Section 17.44.030, Item 20.
