RESOLUTION N0. 63
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
STORAGE LOTS AS A PERMITTED USE IN A C-5 ZONE
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 17.60.140 provides that the Planning
Commission may rule that a use not specifically named as an allowed use in
a district is included in the uses for that district; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point received a request to make a
determination far allowing recreational vehicle storage lots in C-5 zones;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission finds that recreational vehicle
storage lots are not specifically named in the examples of allowed uses in
a C-5 zone, and finds further that recreational vehicle storage lots are of
the same general type and are a similar use and are compatible with other
permitted uses within the C-5 zone.
SECTION 2. Recreational vehicle storage lots are hereby ruled to be
a permitted use in C-5 Thoroughfare Commercial Zones, Central Point
Municipal Code Section 17.46.020, E. Commercial Parking Lots, including
1. Recreational Vehicle Storage Lots.
