HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 63 - Recreational vehicle storage (City)PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION N0. 63 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECREATIONAL VEHICLE STORAGE LOTS AS A PERMITTED USE IN A C-5 ZONE WHEREAS, Municipal Code Section 17.60.140 provides that the Planning Commission may rule that a use not specifically named as an allowed use in a district is included in the uses for that district; and WHEREAS, the City of Central Point received a request to make a determination far allowing recreational vehicle storage lots in C-5 zones; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Planning Commission finds that recreational vehicle storage lots are not specifically named in the examples of allowed uses in a C-5 zone, and finds further that recreational vehicle storage lots are of the same general type and are a similar use and are compatible with other permitted uses within the C-5 zone. SECTION 2. Recreational vehicle storage lots are hereby ruled to be a permitted use in C-5 Thoroughfare Commercial Zones, Central Point Municipal Code Section 17.46.020, E. Commercial Parking Lots, including 1. Recreational Vehicle Storage Lots. Passed by the Planning Commission and signed by me in authentication of its passage this `~~~~' day of December, 1982.
