RESOLUTION NO. 60
A RESO~,UTION RECOMME[~DING ANNF..,XATION OF A Ck~NTIGUOUS PARCEL
OF PROPERTY AT,ONG SNOWY Bi33'I~ LANE AND TO WITHDRAW SUCH PROPERTY
FROM FIRE DISTRICT' NO. 3, ROGUE VALLEY TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT, AND
BEAR CREEK VALLEY SANITARY AU`~C'HORITY
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City of Central Point
requesting and consenting to the annexation of the following described parcel
of real property wntiguous to the City of Central Point, by rare than half of
the owners of land in the territory, who also own more than half of the land in
the contiguous territory and of real property therein representing rrr~re than
half of the assessed value of all real property in the aontiguous territory, and
WHEREAS, the Council has elected pursuant to OR,S 222.120 to dispense
with an election in said a~anexation proceeding, and to withdraw said property,
if annexed, from Jackson County Fire District No. 3, Rogue Valley Transportation
District, and Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority, and
4VE~2EA~S, notices of a Public Meeting held on July 20, 1982, were
published in the Medford Mail. Tribune on July 7, 19$2, and July 14, 1982; and
fisted in four public places on July 2, 1982, and
~, on July 20, 1982 a review of the proposed annexation was held
before the Central Point Planning Coymission, and, testi.rnony from proponents and
opponents was heard at said Public Meeting, now, therefore,
BE IT RE50LVID BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION A5 FOL,L,OWS:
Section 1. That the Planning Cossion of the City of Central Point,
Oregon adopts the Application and Findings of Fact attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
and re~mnends that the City Council approve the annexation of property described
