HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 176 - Florist as a permitted use in C-5!9~ }'T.~ANNTNG coMMlas:roN RF;so~.,t}~rION No. i 7 6 ~-l RESOLUTION I~UT}}ORI2ING T'7 OR7ST ANI) Pk~;T S7l1,ES AS PERMITTED i1SES :CN A C-5 Z~ON}W' W~-IEREAS, the City of Central_ Point P.lann.ing Director has requested an interpretation and determination .for allowing f:Lorist and pet sales in a C--5 zone as a permitted use; and WHEREAS, the City of Central Point Planning Commission determined florist and pet sales to be similar and compatible with other permitted uses in Central Point Municipal Code Section 17.46.82fl; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED B'Y Tk}E CCTY OF CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: Suction 1. The Planning Commission finds that a combined florist and pet sales use is not specifically named in the examples of permitted uses in a C-5 zone, and finds further that said combined use is similar and compatible with other permitted uses. Section 2. Combined florist and pet sales are hereby ruled to be a permitted use in a C-5 Thoroughfare Commercial zone, City of Central Point Municipal Code Section 77.46.028. £~assed by the Planning Commission on October 3, 1989 and signed by me in authentication of its passage this 9th day of October, 1989.
