A RESOLUTION Ag`EI-IORIZTNC TRi3CK DISPATCHING I`ACI~r`~IES
AS A CONDITIONAL. USE 7N A C-5 ZONE
WHEREAS, the City of Central. Point Planning Director has re--
quested an interpretation and determination for allowing truck dispatching
facilities .in a C--S zone as a conditional use; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point Planning Commission
determined truck dispatching facilities to be consistent with the intent and
purpose of the C-5 zone, and further, it is in the community interest to
provide for individual review of such facilities; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CENTRAL, POINT PLANNING COMMIS-
SION AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that truck dis-
patching facilities are not specifically named in the exa~siples of condition-
al uses in a C-5 zone, and finds further that truck dispatching facilities
require individual review to insure land use compatibility.
Section 2. Truck Dl.spatching facilities are hereby ruled to
be a conditional. use in a C-5 zone, Thoroughfare Commercial zone, City of
Central Point Municipal Code Section 17.46.03Q.
Passed by the Planning Commission on December 6, 1.988 and
signed by me in authentication of its passage this 6th day of December,
1988.
