Wf3EREAS, the City of Central i'oint Plann:irig Director has requested
an interpretation and determination for allowing general apparel sales in a
C-S zone as a permitted use; and
WHERI~,AS, the City of Central Point Planning Commission determined
general apparel sales to be similar anal compatible with other permitted uses
in Central Point Municipal Code Section 167.46.020; now, therefore,
BE IT RESDLVED BY TkIE CITY OF CENTRA7. POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. fihe Planning Commission finds that general apparel
sales are not specifically named in the examples of permitted uses in a C-5
zone, and finds further that general apparel sales are similar and campati-
ble w~.th other permitted uses.
Section 2. General apparel sales are hereby ruled to be a per-
mitted use in a C-~5 Thoroughfare Cammercial zone, City of Central Point
Municipal Code Section 17.46.020.
Passed by the Planning Cammissiion on December E~, 1988 and signed by
