PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 154
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ALL-TE~tRAIN
VEHICLE (ATV) SALES, SERVICE AND REPAIR AS A
CONDITIONAL USE IN A C-5 ZONE
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point Planning Director has requested an
interpretation and determination far allowing all-terrain vehicle (ATV} sales,
service and repair in a C-, zone as a conditional use; and
WHEREAS, the City of Central Point Planning Commission determined
all-terrain vehicle (ATV) sales, service and repair to be similar in use to motor-
cycle and snowmobile sales and service as a conditional. use in Municipal Code
Section 17.9:6.030; now therefore,
BE IT RESOS~VED ~3Y THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that all-terrain vehicle
(ATV) sales, service and repair is not specifically named in the examples of
conditional uses in a C-5 zone, and finds further that all-terrain vehicle (ATV)
sales, service and repair is similar in use to motorcycle and snowmobile sales and
service as a conditional use in a C-5 zone.
Section 2. All-terrain vehicle (ATV) sales, service and repair is
hereby ruled to be a conditional use in a C-5 Thoroughfare Commercial zone, City
of Central Point Municipal Code Section 17.46.030.
