A RESOLUTION OF RECOMMENDATION TO THE CENTRAL POINT' CITY COUNCIL FOR ANNEXATION
0~' APPROXIMATELY 115 ACRES OF CONTIGUOUS PROPERTY GENERALLY BOUNDER BY EAST
PINE STREET, HAMRICK ROAD, BEEBE ROA17, AND GEBHARD ROAD TO THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT; TO WITHDRAW SUCH PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT #3 AND
BEAR CREEK VALLEY SANITARY' AUTHORITY; AND FURTHER RECOMMEND T~IAT THE ZONING
DESIGNATION INDICATED ON THE CITY 0~' CENTRAL POINT COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE
ZONING MAP BE IN EFFECT UPON FINAL APPROVAL Off' THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, a petit,i,on has been filed with the City of Central Point requesting
and consenting to the annexation of approximately 115 acres of real property cnnta.g-
uous to the City of Central Point generally bounded by East Pine Street, Hamrick
Road, Beebe Road, and Gebhard Road further described as 37 2W 2D, tax lots 400,
2100, 2200, 2300, 2500, 2600, 2700, 2800, 2900, 1800, 1900, and 2000; 37 2W 1C, tax
lots 3400, 3500, 3600, 900, 1000, 1100, 2600, 2700, 2800, 2900, 3000, 3100, 3200,
3300, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, and 1600; 37 2W 1B, tax lots 2500, 2600, 3900, 4000,
4100, and 4200; 37 2W 2, tax lots 300, 2900, 3000, 3100, 3200, and 270D; and
WHEREAS, if annexed, said property will be withdrawn from Jackson County Fire
District #3 and Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority; and
WHEREAS, the agenda listing the public meeting held August 2, 1988 was posted
in four public places on July 25, 1988; and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1988, a review of the proposed annexation was held be-
fore the Central Point Planning Commission and opportunity for testimony from propo-
nents and opponents was provided at said public meeting; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION that the Planning
Commission of the City of Central Point, Oregnn, recommends that the City Council
approve the annexatinn of approximately 115 acres of contiguous property generally
bounded by East Pine Street, Hamrick Rnad, Beebe Road, and Gebhard Raad to the City
of Central Point and withdraw said property from Jackson County Fire District #3
and Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Central Point Planning Cnmmission recommends
that the zoning designation indicated on the City of Central Point Comprehensive
Land Use Map be in effect upon final approval of the proposed annexation.
