HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 143 - Lowe Variancer~'~ ~' ,' 7 r. ii PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1~3 A RESOLU'T`ION ADOP'T'ING FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS AND APPROVING `T'HE VARIANCE OF THOMAS AND JOANNA LOWE WHEREAS, an application for a variance for the reduction of the required num~- ber of covered off-street parking spaces from two to one at 745 I-3emlock Court with- in the City and more particularly described as Valley Estates Unit 3, lit 13, block 2; and WHEREAS, the Central Point Planning Co[r~mission has reviewed and approved the application at a public hearing held on the seventh day of June, 1988; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVEJ~ BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The relevant criteria applicable to the within application is Central Point Municipal Code Chapter 1.7.80 which describes the conditions the Planning Commission must consider in order to grant a variance. Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby finds as follows. Tkae request meets or is not applicable to the criteria far granting a variance because: 1. Not applicable 2. Not applicable 3. Nat applicable 4. Not applicable 5. The variance will not have any adverse impact upon the neighborhood be- cause the applicants will follow all requirements of the Uniform Building Code and Uniform Fire Code. 6. The variance will involve utilization of R-1 zoned property and still pro- vide an area for four off-street parking spaces. Section 3. The Planning Commission finds that the record herein and the findings therefrom support the conclusion that the proposal is in compliance with the appli- cable standards of the City's Zoning Code. 'The proposed variance is hereby ap- proved subject to compliance with the relevant requirements of the Uniform Building Cnde and the Uniform Fire Code.
