P. and Sharon Ia. ~'agone filed an appli-- cation for a minor partition of land located at 1922 Scenic Avenue further des- cribed as Jackson County Nap Page 37 2W 3AB, 'I'ax I.ot 420Q; and WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing was pasted at the Central Point 7~ibrary, Central Point Post Office, Central Point Fire Station, and Centra7_ Point City Hall; and published in the Medford }ail Tribune on. August 23 and 30, 1.985; and WIIEREA5, at their regular. meeting on September 3, 1985, the Planning Com- mission held a review of the proposal, provided opportunity for testimony from proponents and opponents and received a planning staff report; and idHEREAS, subsequent to the reviecr and public hearing, the Planning Cammis- sion made a motion to provide recommendation far approval to the City Council; now, therefore, BE IT RLSOLVEI~ that the City of Central Paint Planning Commission recom- mends to the City of Central Point City Council that the minor partition of land be approved with the requirement that the drainage Swale on the east side of parcels ~~l and 4~2 be maintained to not inhibit the present ability of flow, nor the opportunity for owners or future owners of parcels ~~l and ~}2 to perform such maintenance as may be necessary to assure a natural flow of surface drainage. BE IT FURTHER R};SOLVE}? L•hat the granting of approval include that a public sidewalk be required in conjunction with a building permit on parcel ~~1 to con- form to City standards and align with the Scenic Village Subdivision.
