Wkl):RE'AS, a petition has been filed with the City of Central. Point request-~-
a.ng and consenting to the annexation of approximately 189 acres of real. pro-
party contiguous to the City o£ Central Point generally bounded by 13ursell
Road, Beal~I. Lane, Ilopkins Road, and Interstate ~~5 further described as within
Jackson County Assessor's Map Page 37 ltd 11A, 11D, 128, and 12C; and
WHEREAS, i£ annexed, sand property wz.ll be withdrawn from Jaclcson County
>±ire District ~~3, Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority and Rogue Valley Trans-
portatian District; and
WHEREAS, not~.ces of public hearing held Ju1.y 2, 1985 were published in the
Medford Mail Tribune on June 23 and 30, 1985, and posted in four public places
on June 12, 1985; and
WHEREAS, on July 2, 19$5, a review of the proposed. annexation was held
before the Central Point Planning Commission and opportunity for testimony from
proponents and opponents was provided at Said public hearing; not~r, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CENTRAL POINT PLANNING COMMISSION that the Planning
Commission o£ the City o£ Central Point, Oregon., recommends that the City Coun-
cil approve tlae annexation of approximately 189 acres of contiguous property
generally bounded by 13ursell Road, Beall Lane, Hopkins Road, and Interstate 4~5
to the City of Central Point and the caithdracral o£ said property from Jackson
