Don Burt, Planning Manager, presented committee members with a recap of the survey
results from property owners in the proposed UGB expansion areas, indicating that the

changes. Mr. Humphrey stated that public transportation needed to be looked at and
added to the mix.
Further, a representative from ECO Northwest presented findings on the assumptions
they are using to project growth. They aze looking at varying densities and employees
per acre [o see how these would increase or decrease land use needs. If we use the low
land need, we have deficits m retail services category. Under high land need, we would
have higher land use deficits in retail but lower deficits in retail service, If we inorease
densities from 6 [0 6.7, it puts us closet to a wash. The policy committee is going to
revisit the assumptions used inland use needs scenarios. Medium is good.
