AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONTRACT FOR STREET
SWEEPING ON PRIVATE STREETS
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added to the Municipal Code of
the City of Central Point, Chapter 12.32, which is to read as
follows:
Chapter 12.32
Street Sweeping of Private Streets
12.32.010 Authorized. The City Administrator is authorized to
enter into contracts for the use of City equipment for the
sweeping of private streets, subject to the following terms and
conditions:

B. Such contracts shall be entered into only with non-
profit homeowner's associations, and only such associations which
provide off-street parking.
C. Such contracts shall be entered into only if no private
companies are available to provide the sweeping service which is
the subject of the contract.
D. Such contracts shall be for a duration not to exceed one
(1) year, but may be renewed if all conditions of this ordinance
are met at the time of renewal.
E. Such contracts shall provide for payment to the City of
all costs incurred in the provision of said service, as
determined by the City Administrator, including costs of
operation, capitalization and administration of the service and
contract.
