C®1VSERVATIOI~1 AID EVEI.®P 1~TT (I)I,CI)) F® PI,A1~1~IlVG ASSISTAl~1CE TIiR®iTGII T TGM QTJICI~ RESP®l~tSE PROG S AS, Oregon's Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program supports local government planning to better integrate transportation and land use development; and AS, the subsidiary Quick Response Program provides free conceptual site planning, urban design, transportation planning, and economic and market feasibility analysis for developers and local governments to address short-range development issues requiring immediate attention; and W AS, there is immediate and increasing development pressure in and around Central Point's Pine Street/I-5 interchange that threatens a satisfactory level of service, efficient land use and overall livability; and. E AS, it is one of the City's stated Transportation System Planning (TSP) goals to encourage land use'development that supports and contributes to a more efficient transportation system; and REAS, the City of Central Point wishes to respond to the concerns of its citizens, property owners, local and state officials and come together to develop innovative design solutions and overcome regulatory obstacles; NOi'V, 'TI3E F®RE, BE IT RES®I.VEI) BY T CITY C®iT1~CII., ®E T CITY ®F CEN P®IIe1T, ®REG®1~1, that the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to apply for TGM and Quick Response Program assistance from the state and to act on the City's behalf in all matters pertaining. to this application.
