A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES CAST AT
THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 6, 1990
WHEREAS, the general City election was held on November 6,
1990, during which legal voters of the City of Central Point
considered a ballot title question relating to City Ordinance No.
1629 which limits woodburning on high pollution days, and the
election of officers of the City, and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to state law, the Jackson County Clerk. was
the official election officer for the City and has certified. the
results of said election, said certification having been received
on the 27th day of November, 1990, and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City requires that the City
Council meet and canvass the returns of said election at the first
regularly scheduled meeting following receipt of the Jackson County
Clerk's Certification of Election results.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON as
follows:
Section 1. That the votes cast by electors of the City of
Central Point for aforesaid ballot measure, Mayor, Councilmember
from Ward i, Councilmember from Ward II, and Councilmember from
Ward III at the general election of November 6, 1990 be, and the
same are hereby found, determined and declared to be as follows:

BALLOT MEASURE 15-4 Asking voters if City of Central Point
Ordinance No. 1629, which limits woodburning on high air pollution
days should be repealed.

certified by the Jackson County Clerk and. canvassed and ratified
by the City Council by this Resolution, it is hereby found,

determined and declared that the following are the official results
of the General Election held on November 6, 1990.

effective date of this Resolution.
