A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN
FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-97
Recitals
1. ORS 294.450(1) authorizes transfers of appropriations
within a given fund when authorized by official resolution of the
City Council, providing that said resolution states the need for
the transfer, the purpose for the authorized expenditure, and the
amount of the appropriation transferred.
Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. $3, 867 shall be transferred from the General Fund,
General Services Department, Criminal Services Block Grant
Category, to the General Fund, Police Department, Capital Outlay
Category, for the purpose of spending money received from a federal
grant for the purchase of a hostage telephone system and a rifle.
Passed by the Council and si ned by me in authentication of
