A RESOLUTION ASSESSING COSTS OF WEED ABATEMENT
AT 675 FARNSWORTH DRIVE AND 835 MAPLE STREET
Recitals
1. Pursuant to CPMC Chapter 8.08, the City notified the
owners of 675 Farnsworth Drive and 835 Maple Street to remove
unlawful weeds on those properties within 15 days of the notices.
2. Such weeds were not removed in a timely manner, and the
City proceeded to remove the weeds, at a cost of $72..65 for the
property at 675 Farnsworth Drive, and $138.63 for the property at
835 Maple Street.
3. No objection to the assessment was received from the
property owner of 675 Farnsworth Drive. The owner of 835 Maple
Street filed an objection within the allowable time, and the City
Council has determined the appropriate amount of the assessment,
which is set forth below.
Now, therefore;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, that the sum of $72.65 shall be and hereby
is assessed. against the property located at 675 Farnsworth Drive,
which is assessor's map 37 2W i1CB, Tax Lot 2600, and the sum of
$ 3E.6 shall be and hereby is assessed against the property
located at 835 Maple Street, which is tax assessor's map 37 2W
02CB, Tax Lot 2401. These assessments shall be entered in the
docket of City liens, shall constitute liens against the.
described properties, and shall bear interest at 7% per annum
from the date of entry in the lien docket.
