RESOLUTION MODIFYING WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
REIMBURSEMENT FEE (SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT CHARGE)
Recitals
1. Pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 223, Central Point
enacted Ordinance No. 1657, authorizing the City to establish. and revise by
resolution System Development Charges for various types of capital
improvements.
2. By Resolution No. 588, on June 24, 1991, the City established a
Wastewater Treatment Plant Reimbursement Fee (System Development Charge),
setting forth certain System Development Charges for various sewer system
uses within the City.
3. Based on a Final Report by Economic and Engineering Services,
Inc., entitled, "System Development Charges for the Medford Regional Water
Quality Control Plant, October, 1992", the Council determined that the
schedules of System Development Charges set forth. in Resolution No. 588
should be updated and revised, and the same were revised in Resolution No.
656 on May 20, 1993.
4. The Regional Rate Committee has further modified the rates as they
pertain to the "Type of Building and Sewer Use" listed below under number
4, 9 and 12. Those categories did not exist in Resolution No. 5S8 or 656.
Nbw, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT,
OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following schedule of System Development Charges for
the Wastewater Treatment Plant Reimbursement Fee is hereby adopted to
replace the schedule of these contained in Resolution No. 588:

In case of a remodel in types 4-13 which results in no increase in the
units on which the charge for a new building is calculated, the System
Development Charge for the remodel will be calculated on the basis of the
fixtures added using the amounts in item 14.
When the charges are changed from time to time, the prior schedule of
charges shall remain in effect for all buildings for which a completed.
application for building permit was filed prior to the effective date of
the new schedule.

Section 2. The foregoing schedule of charges shall be effective
January 1, 1994, except that the prior schedule of charges shall remain in
effect for all buildings for which a completed application for building
permit was filed prior to January 1, 1994.
