PINE STREET A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING COMPLIANCE BY APRIL 1, 1999 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to a written request by Donald Lampe for a hearing before the City Council to determine whether a vehicle owned by Mr. Lampe and stored at 156 W. Pine Street constitute a public nuisance and should be abated, the City Council on February 18, 1999, held a hearing on the matter. Section 2. After hearing testimony from Code Enforcement Officer Ron Barnett and Mr. Lampe, the City Council finds that Mr. Lampe is in violation of CPMC 10.12.040, which prohibits the keeping of discarded vehicles, and the Council declares the discarded vehicle to be a public nuisance. Section 3. Pursuant to the authority granted the City Council in CPMC 10.12.090, Mr. Lampe is hereby allowed to ]seep the inoperable white and gold Mercury on his premises until April 1, 1999, at which. time the vehicle shall be screened from public view. If the vehicle is not screened from the public view or removed from the premises by April 1, 1999, such vehicle shall be immediately removed by the City without further notice to Mr. Lampe or further action by the City Council.
