A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF A 14-ACRE
PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT 4732 N. PACIFIC .HIGHWAY
INTO THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON
Recitals
1. Billy W. Hogan, applicant, on behalf of Marian G.
Miller, owner, has applied to the City of Central Point, Oregon,
for annexation of a 14-acre parcel of land located at 4732 N.
Pacific Highway..
2. ORS 222.125 authorizes annexations of property
contiguous to cities by city council resolution when all of the
owners of land in the territory proposed for annexation and nct
less than SOa of the electors, if any, have consented in writing
to the annexation.
3. On March 21, 1996, a public hearing was held before the
Central Point City Council to consider such annexation
application.
Now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:.
Section 1. The following-described property is within the
Urban Growth Boundary of the City of Central Point, and is
contiguous. to the existing corporate boundaries of the City of
Central Point, Oregon.
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest one-
quarter (1/4) of Section 3 in Township 37 South, Range 2 West of
the Willamette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon; thence South 00°
16' 50" East along the Easterly line of said one-quarter (1/4)
corner a distance of 1438.10 feet tothe POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
South 89° 43' 10" West 267.12 feet; thence South 88° 43' 20" West
324.94 feet; thence South 88° 49' 10" West 659.27 feet to a point
o the Northeasterly right-of-way line of Pacific Highway; thence
along said right-of-way line, North 35° 08' 30" West 537.27 feet to
a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence leaving said right-of-way line, North
89° 49' 10" East 901.06 feet to the Southwest corner of GREEN GLEN
SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 2, according to the official Plat thereof,
now of record in said Jackson County; thence North 86° 44' 03" East
(Record North 88° 44' 41" East) along the Southerly boundary of
said subdivision, 611.29 feet to the Southeast corner thereof;
thence North 69° 49' 10" East 46.00 feet to a point on the
aforementioned Easterly line of the Northwest one-quarter (1/4) of
said Section 3; thence South 00° 16' S0" East along said Easterly
line, 433.70 feet to the Point. of Beginning. Containing 13.99
acres, more Or 1056.

Section 2. The owner of the property and only elector
residing thereon is Marian G. Miller, who has consented in
writing to the annexation.
Section 3. Annexation of the property is consistent with
the City's ability to provide facilities and services to the
parcel, as required by the City's comprehensive plan.
Section 4. Pursuant to ORS 222.125, the property described
in Section 1 above shall be, and hereby is, annexed to and made a
part of the City of Central Point, Oregon.
Section 5. The City Administrator, or his designee, shall
transmit a copy of this resolution to the Oregon Secretary of
State, and this annexation shall be effective as of the date of
filing with the Secretary of State, pursuant to ORS 222.18.0.
