A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE PROVISION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL
SERVICES BY THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON
Recitals
1. ORS 221.760 provides that in order for cities located
within counties with population over 100,000 to receive state
revenues from cigarette, gas and liquor taxes, the State must be
satisfied that the City provides certain municipal services; and
2. The City of Central Point wishes to certify to the
appropriate state. officer that the City provides those certain
services.
Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL
POINT, OREGON, that the City of Central Point hereby certifies
that it provides to its citizens the following municipal
services: police protection, fire protection, street
construction, maintenance and lighting, sanitary sewers, storm
sewers, planning, zoning and subdivision control and water
utilities.
Passed by the Council and signed by me in
authentication of its passage this 16 day of
June , 1995.
