ORDINANCE N0. 1599
AN ORDINANCE SEGREGATING ASSESSMENTS
LEVIED ON PROPERTY FOR THE PITTVIEW AVENUE
CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER SYSTEM
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, Chapter 11.08 provides for segregating special assessments levied
for local improvements, and
WHEREAS, a petition by the propertyowner has been received to segregate
Tax Lot 900, 37 2W 11D, now, therefore
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described property, to wit:
Tax Lot 900, 37 2W 11D, Code 6-2 was assessed in the sum of $2,878.33 for the
improvement of streets and sanitary sewer being assessment No. 13 under
Ordinance No. 1568, the unpaid portion of which assessment at this time,
1/31/88, is as follows:

Section 2. The Council hereby does fix and determine the amount of the
assessment against the division of this property as follows:

The Council hereby levies and assesses against the above property
divisions the apportioned and segregated liens.

Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health and safety of the City of Central Point, Qregon
based upon a need to implement segregation of lien to correspond with real
estate sales, second reading is hereby waived, and an emergency is declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
Passed by the Council and signed by me in authentication of its passage
this 18th day of February 1988.
