Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, AS FOLLOWS: 1. General Fund (O1), Police (Dept IS), $26,900 shall be added to Personal Services. This added expenditure is to cover vacation payoff for the retirement of two personnel in the police department that was not anticipated in the adopted budget last year. Additional revenue not originally budgeted includes additional revenue from: Traffic Fines of $5,100 and Hotel Room Tax $21,800. Equipment Acquisition Fund (82), $14,000 shall be transferred from Capital Outlay to Material and Services. This transfer is needed to reflect the unanticipated increase in the hourly rate paid to the city's computer consultant. 3. Telephone Excise Tax Fund (91), Increase the budget by the maximum 10% allowed without reconvening the Budget conunittee in the amount of $5,780 for Material and Services. With an offsetting increase in revenue (Intergovernmental Transfers). The Telephone Excise Tax by Oregon Statute is required to be recorded in our finances, even though the money goes directly to Medford's 911 dispatch. Last year the final quarterly payment, was received after the budget was adopted, shows the need to increase this year's budget. ~~ Passed by the Council and signed by in authentication of its passage this j,~ day of \,,;~ _ 2003. ayor Hank Williams ATTES .
