HomeMy WebLinkAboutCouncil Resolution 888RESOLUTION NO. 888 A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 880 TO ESTABLISH THE PERMANENT TAX RATE FOR THE ADOPTED FISCAL YEAR 2000-2001 BUDGET WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly and regularly held by the City Council of Central Point, Oregon, on the 8th day of June, 2000 on the approved budget for the City of Central Point, Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001, and consideration was given tc matters discussed at said public hearing and no increases were made to the proposed tax levy ofthe approved budget; nor were any budget estimates increased more than 10% as limited by law, and WHEREAS, following said public hearing, the City Council adopted. Resolution No. 880, adopting the budget for the City of Central Point for the fiscal year July 1, 2000 to June 30,.2001, making appropriations and levying taxes, and WI-IEREAS, the City desires to amend the amount of taxes levied upon the taxable property of the city for said fiscal. year budget to reflect the permanent tax rate limit of$5.8328 per thousand dollars of assessed valuation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON,. AS FOLLOWS: Section I .
