A RESOLUTION ISSUING A FINAL ORDER
ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION
APPROVING A SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR THE EASTSIDE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT
(Applicant: Daniel L. Park)
(372W02D Tax Lots 2600, 2700, & 2800)
Recitals
This matter came before the City Council of the City of Central Point, Oregon, for
hearing on 7anuary 4, 2001, on appeal of the Planning Commission decision
approving a Site Plan Review to construct a 109-room hotel and 4,000 sq. ft.
restaurant, in a G-4, Tourist and Office Professional district of the City. The City
Cowrcil reviewed the Iutdings fo fact and conclusions of law and the conditions of
approval adopted by the Pla~uiing Commission, and received comments from all
persons wishing to be heard on the matter.
Now, therefore;.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OP THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT,
OREGON, AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. Criteria Applicable to Decision. The following chapters fo the Central Point
Municipal Code spply to this review:
A. Chapter ] .24, Public Hearings Procedures;
B. Chapter 17.44, C-4, Tourist and Office Professional District;
C. Chapter 17.72, Site Plan. Landscaping and Construction Plan Approval.
Section 2. Findings of Pact and Conclusions of Law. The City Council hereby adopts by
reference all findings of fact and conclusions of law set forth in Planning Commission Resolution
No. 505.
Section 3. Conditional Approval. The City Comrcil hereby affirnis the decision of the
Planning Commission to approve the Site Plan for the Eastside Hotel & Restaurant subject to the
Planning Commission conditions of approval and as 12ereafter modified:
The applicant shall comply with the condition set forth in Planning Commission
Resolutions No. 349 and 3~0, requiring future development in the vicinity of the
Pilot Center to reimburse the developer(s) of the Pilot Center apro-rata share of the
cost ofthe public roadway improvements constructed by the developer(s) ofthe Pilot
Center that benefit such development.
The scope of the public improvements eligible for reimbursement, the properties
determined to benefit from. the construction. of said improvements, and the pro-rata
reimbursement assessed to each benefitting property shall be determined solely by
the City of Central Point.
