A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION
TO AMEND TITLE 17 OF THE CENTRAL POINT MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the amendment ofTitle 17 of the Central Point Municipal Code maybe
initiated by adoption of a resolution of intention by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Central Point deems that the public
necessity and. convenience and the general welfare of the public require such amendment .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON that it is the intention of the City Council to amend Title
17 of the Central Point Municipal Code in order to address the siting of fences and accessory
structures, the siting oftelecommunicatons facilities, standards for street trees and required
landscaping, and standards for sound, visual and physical buffers between land uses.
