A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION
OF 2.3 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED BETWEEN HANLEY ROAD AND MENDOLIA WAY
INTO THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, OREGON

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT,
OREGON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Application. has been made by the owners of certain real property for annexation
into the City of Central Point,. Oregon. The property consists of one tax lot consisting of a total of 2.3
acres. The property to be annexed is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at 5/8 inch iron pin marking the Northwest corner of Lot 5 of
COUNTRY MEADOWS ESTATES SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 1, PHASE 1, according to the
official plat thereof, now of record, in Jackson County, Oregon; thence
along the West line of that tract described in Document No. 88-22785,
Official Records of Jackson County, Oregon, North 00°03'55" East,. 311.55
feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin at the most Westerly Southwest corner of WEST
PINE VILLA SUBDIVISION, according to the official plat thereof, now of
record, in Jackson. County, Oregon; thence along the exterior of said
SUBDIVISION, South 89°53'55" East, 18.38 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin at an.
angle point; thence South O1°36'37" East, 14.70 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin
at an angle point; thence South 89°54'59" East, 935.19 feet (record North
89°55'95" East, 935.60 feet) to an angle point; thence South 00°03'55"
West, 194.38 feet (record South 00°04'15" West, 199.91 feet) to a. 5/8 inch
iron pin at the most Southerly corner of said SUBDIVISION; thence along the
Westerly line of Pine Street, along the arc of a 290.99 foot radius curve
to the left having a central angle of 09°3.9'91", a distance of 23.21 feet
(the long chord of which bears South 37°18'32" West, 23.20 feet) to the
South line of that tract described in Document No. 88-22785, said Official
Records; thence along said South line, WEST, 295.91 feet to the interior
ell corner of said tract; thence South QO°05'01" West, 133.50 feet to a 5/8
inch iron pin. at the Northeast corner of Lot 9, said COUNTRY MEADOWS
ESTATES SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 1, PHASE 1; thence along the North lines of
said Lots 4 and 5, North B9°57'22" West, 199.01 feet to the point of
beginning. Containing 2.30 acres, more or less.
The above-described property is not within the City of Central Point's current corporate boundaries,
but is contiguous to the City's existing corporate boundary and is within the Central Point Urban
Growth Boundary (UGB).
Section 2. The owner of the property proposed for annexation Marion Hull and there is a
record of consent to the annexation. Such written consent is on file at Central Point City Hall, 155
South Second Street, Central Point, Oregon.
Section 3. ORS 222.125 provides that when all of the owners of land in the territory proposed
for annexation and not less that 50% of the electors residing in such territory have consented in writing
to the annexation of the land in the territory and file such written consent. with the City Council, the
property may be annexed without the requirement. for an election or a public hearing.
..Section 4. Annexation of the described propertg is consistent with the City's ability to orovde _,
facilities and services to the real property, as required by the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Section 5. Pursuant to ORS 222.125, the property described in Section 1 above, shall be and
hereby is, annexed to and made a part of the City of Central Point, Oregon.
Section 6. The City Administrator, or his designee, shall transmit a copy of this resolution. to
the Oregon Secretary of State, and this annexation shall be effective when filed with the Oregon
Secretary of State pursuant to ORS 222.180.
