PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING June 29, 1965
CITY HALL
The meeting was caiied to order at 7:30 by Chairman Harry Tonn.
Members present: Bruce, Tonn, Noel, Jantzer, Ayres.
The minutes of May 25, 19b5 were read and approved. The minutes of
the Special Meeting on May 27, 1965 were also read'and approved.
Mr. Frank Glenn presented plans for a tri-plex to be built on the
corner of Fourth and Ash (Northeast corner), Rodger Richardson,
owner. Motion was made by Noel and second by Jantzer to accept the
above plat and plans, check petition signatures, and call for a
public hearing on this above tri-plea on July 27, 1965, at our
regular meeting. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Noel and second by Bruce to have an on-site in-
spection of the property of L. L. Kottke. He wants to have a T.U.
business in his home. Inspection will be at the Planning Commission's
convenience. Motion carried.
A plat and plan was presented to the Planning Commission by Mr. Sells
to build an eight-plex two-story apartment on Lots 5, 6, and the
westerly 35 feet of Lot 7 of Block 1 of Shield's amended addition
to the City of Central Point. All setbacks are okay except for the
parking area in the alley which is cramped to park 8 cars in 65 feet
of lot facing the alley.
A motion was made by Ayres and second by Williams to check the
signatures on the above eight-plea and call for a public hearing on
July 27, 1965. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 by Chairman Harry Tonn.
