0 PLANNING COMMISSION 8:00 P.M.
REGULAR MEETING
JULY 30, 1968
Present: Jantzer, Langston, Novosad, George, and City Administrator,
Freeman Mason.
The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman, Robert Jantzer,
at 8:00 P.M. The minutes of the previous meeting was read by Acting
Secretary, Freeman Mason, and approved.
1 . Margaret Naples was present regarding the Turrell property on South
Amy Street. Mrs. Naples stated that it is impossible to sell this
property as it is now zoned, and inquired if it would be possible to
have it rezoned. Mrs. Naples was instructed that residents of the area
concerned must sign a petition requesting a zone change and present
this petition to the Planning Commission.
2. Also, property on South Fourth Street, at Bush Street,• the Bun & Run,
is desired for use as a Day Nursery. This would also require a zone
change and must be petitioned for this change.
3. Mrs. Arlo Demons, 865 S. 5th Street, was present to request a variance
on the set-back allowance for a pump house building. They do not have
the necessary area for required set-back from the property line, and is
requesting a variance for less set-back distance for this building.
Langston made a motion to allow the necessary variance for this building.
2nd by Novosad. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Novosad to Adjourn. 2nd by Langston. Motion carried.
