HomeMy WebLinkAboutFebruary 27, 1968 223 PLANNING CUEISSION February 27, 1968 REGULAR MEETING 8:00 P.M. Members Present: Bruce, Jantzer, Cox, Novosad, Langston., & Freeman Mason. Meeting called to Crder by Chairman, Lew Cox. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. There was no new business presented to the Planning Commission at this time. Further discussion was given to "curb cuts" for driveways, for making a uniform code fcr this type of construction. A suggestion was made to consider the need to place a load limit on residential streets. Ray Novosad and Bill Langston were appointed as a committee to look into the possibility of the need of these restrictions and also, which streets would require this attention. A letter from the Oregon State Planning Commission was read, which invited this Planning Commission to ,join the State Planning Commission in order to better coordinate plans for the area. This was tabled for further discussion and study at a later date. A motion was made by Langston to adjourn. 2nd by Bruce. Motion Carried. 8:37 P.I;. Norman Bruce, Sec.
