PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 25, 1967
Present: Bruce, Taylor, Jantzer, Cox, Langston, Novosad.
A motion was made by Langston to dispense with the reading of the
minutes of the previous meeting. 2nd b y Jantzer. Motion carried.
1 . Public Hearing on the New Zoning Ordinance. There was no
opposition presented bo this new Ordinance. After a general discussion
a motion was made by Jantzer to accept this New Ordinance and send it
to the Council with approval of the. Planning Commission. 2nd by
Langston. Motion Carried.
2. A. suggestion was made that the City _should have a Sign Ordinance.
A discussion of items to be considered, such as height, fees, etc.
Mr. Freeman Mason stated he would contact the League of Oregon Cities
and obtain information relative to designing a Sign Ordinance.
Also mentioned for consideration was "Off—street" parking.
' 3. Mayor, Dale Bartley, suggested that since space in the City Offices
will soon be inadequate for future needs, now is the time to begin
planning for the future of these needs. Building, Property, etc.
This well be kept in mind for any future opportunities.
4. Since there was no further business, a motion was made by Jantzer
to adjourn. 2nd by Novosad. Motion Carried. 8: 15 P.M.
