CITY HALL
Meeting called to order by Chairman Chet Ayres at 7:30 P.M.
Members present--Ayres, Jantzer, Noel, Tonn and Bruce.
Minutes of the January 25, 1966 meeting were approved as read.
Tom Whittle--lst and Maple property. Motion called for by Chairman
Ayres. Harry Tonn moved that second dwelling on lot in question not
be approved. Motion second and carried.
Question raised concerning .the previous issuance of a variance
allowing a duplex on the above property. Mr. Whittle proposed
a plan to connect the existing building to proposed building with
garage-carport roof,• thereby creating a duplex. Planning Commission
understands that duplex variance exists on this property.

Janhter moved and Noel secondv.the motion to approve the plan for
duplex submitted by Mr. Whittle at this location (NE corner of
lst and Maple). Motion carried.
Mr. Whittle discussed with the Commission the problem of construction
of a dwelling on an undersize lot at the corner of Oak and Bigham
Streets. Undersize lot and house has been sold; a legal size lot
remains. '
Petition received from Mr. John Mc Gonagle for purpose of giving
music lessons in his home at 101 N. 8th Street. Motion made and
carried to permit Mr. Mc Gonagle to give lessons in his home. _
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 by Chairman Chet Ayres.
