CITY HALL January 6, 1966
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Harry Tonn.
Members present; Langston, Cox, Bruce, Tonn, Jantzer, Ayres.
The City Council turned down Mr. Sutphin's request for a Snack Bar
north of first street. They requested a 501 right of way with a
45' radius Cul-De-Sac for fire and police access.
Mrs. Sutphin's argument is for the change but she thinks the cost would
be to high to warrant paying, considering the income of her business.
She figures the other people involved in paying for this street addition
would not benefit enough from this street to help pay for it.
A motion by Jantzer and second by Cox to obtain a 50' street right of way
and a 501 radius Cul-De-Sac right bf way with curbs put in for a 40,
street and 45' Cul-De-Sac to make the above property available to a
deeded city street. The Planning Commission does not feel the above
persons need to have the added expense of the paving at the present time.
Some one should examine the records and establish a present zoning on
this property.
Meeting ajourned at 8:30 by Chairman Harry Tonn.
Signed: Jantzer
