PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
CITY HALL December 28, 1965
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by Chairman Harry Tonn. 1
Members present: Bruce, Cox, Ayres, Tonn, Jantzer, Langston, Noel.
Mr. George Smythe wants the Planning Commissions permission to build
a church (Kingdom Hall) on the South west corner of 5th and Oak. He
presented plans and a petition for this project.
A motion by Ayres and second by Jantzer to accept this proposal and
plot plan if built according to the city building code.
Motion carried.
Tom Mast presented plot plan to build a carport on the front of house at
459 Grand Ave. He wants a 416" variance to build this carport.
A motion by Ayres and second by Cox to grant a variance on the above lot
of 416" on Grand Ave. to build the carport.
Mrs. Willie Germann presented a preliminary plat of a subdivision on the
East side of Scenic Ave.
A motion by Jantzer and second by Ayres to accept the lot plat of Mrs.
Germann with the addition of a Cul—De—Sac on the South end of Freeway Dr.
Motion carried. (at least a 45 ft. radius)
R.E. Hall presented a new parking plan for his k plex on 7th and Manzanita. '
A motion by Cox and second by Bruce to call for a Public Hearing on the
above 4 plex at our next regular meeting on Jan. 25, 1966.
A motion by Ayres and second by Noel to hold a Public Hearing on the
zone change at 155 South First (Striever Golden Age Nursery)
from Residental Zone I to Commercial Zone II.
Public Hearing will be held at our next regular meeting on Jan. 25, 1966.
The meeting was ajourned at 8:00 by Chairman Harry Tonn.
