PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
CITY HALL November 30, 1965
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman Harry Tonn. ,
Members present: Noel, Jantzer, Tonn, Bruce, Cox, Ayers.
The minuter of October 26, 1965 and special meeting of November 9,
1965 were read and aproved.
A Public Hearing was held on Norman-Bruce's multiple dwelling at
lot 3, Block 63, OriginalTown. There was no objection.
A motion by Cox and second by Ayres to to accept this multiple
dwelling and turn it over to, the City council for approval.
Motion carried.
Mrs. Betty Kay Davis prsented a petition to operate her truck,
(Catering Service) in a residential area.
A motion by Ayres and second by Cox that we should table this proposal
until futher study is spent on it. Motion carried.
Vern Kight presented' a new. plan to change his paving on his multiple
dwelling on E. Pine street. Mr. Sells is doing his building for him.
Kight's Lawyer spoke on the changes made an this property different from
the original plat and plan.. A work stoppage was placed on the property
until the changes made were brought up to the original plat.
A motion by Ayres and second by Cox to deny the above changes and hold the '
apartment and parking according to the original agreed upon.
Motion carried.
Myron Corcoran presented the Plat of Central Valley Sub divison Unit N,,.
3. Itis the last unit of 3 to be accepted by the city. It is the original
plat of his area.
A motion by Ayres and second by Jantzer to accept the above plat and to
pay for all inspection on this plat made by the city Engineer at a
reasonable rate and the plat will be signed upon the signing of an
agreement pertaining to the payment and cost of the enginerring
inspection. Motion carried.
Amotion by Brucec and second by Ayres to leave the stop work order on
Vern Kights 8 Plex in force until all Violations and corrections are taken
care of to the satisfaction of the city. Motion carried.
Amotion by Ayres and second by Cox. to accept the alternate parking plan
presented by R.E. Hall on his property on 4th and Ash if the parking
areas are covered with a suitable .material with definate outline for
parking area. Motion carried.
A motion by Jantzer and second by Ayres to accept the Mead,Miller, 1
School District 6 annexation and turn it over to the city council for
their Public Hearing. Motion carried.
A motion by Jantzer. and second by Cox to table the multiple proposal
of R. E. Hall at Lot 3 Block 46 until a detail plan and plat plan
showing parking in rear for 1 314 cars per unit (7 stalls).
Motion carried.
The meeting was ajourned at 9:15 by Chairman HArry Tonn.
