PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
CITY HALL February 23,1965
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Harry Tonn.

Members absent: NoelChet Ayres
Public Hearing was held on the annexation of property located on. North Scenic
Avenue and East of 10th Street and West of Freeway 5. - No objections.
Public Hearing was.held on the tri-plea for Frank Bruce,to be located on. Lat 8,
Block 59,Original Town,Central-Point. No objections.
Public Hearing was held on the Zone Change for property located at 714 E. Pine St. (Glass)
Property to be changed from Residential,Zone I to Commercial.Zone II. No. objections.
A motion was made by Jantzer, second Willi.ams. to accept the plat of W.L. Moore
for Homestead Park,Unit 3. Motion carried.
Motion made by Jantzer, second by Williams, ,to accept, plan changes of .Apts.
on Lot 4,Block 8,Amy Addition-to be built by ken Curtis. It will be changed to
a 2 story-10 unit apartment. Motion carried. : (Multiple dwelling.was-formerly
approved Sept.29,1964.)
A plan and signed petition was presented by E.C. Brittsan to build 2::12: unit
.2 story aparts. on Lots 1-2-3-4,Block 32, Original Town,Central Point,Ore. 1
A public hearing will be held on March 30,1965 at our regular meeting.
A member of the Jackson County Planning Commission spoke on the Bear Creek
Valley development program. He presented maps and proposed ideas on the
development of the valley.
