HomeMy WebLinkAboutOctober 27, 1964 163 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING October 27,1964 CITY HALL Meeting called-to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Harry Tonn. Minutes of Sept: 29,1964 read and approved. Members present: N. Bruce, Chet Ayres, Harry Tonn,Vic Noel, Keith William,Bob Jantzer. Public Hearing was held on the Amendment to Ordinance No. 304,Sec. 9, (Zoning Ord.) No. Objections. Public Hearing was held on a multiple dwelling to be built by Ken Curtis on West Pine Street. No. Objections. Public Hearing was held on a Multiple Dwelling to be built by A.W. Rahn. No Objections. Motion made by Jantzer, second by Ayres, to accept the revised plat of Green Oaks Subdivision (Block 2) Tom Whittles. Carried. A plan for a duplex was presented by Ivan Skyrman to be built on the corner of 8th and Maple. A variance of 5 feet on 8th Street was requested. The Planning Commission will ha ve an on site inspection and loot it over at 12: ;5,October 28,1964 to see if a variance is in order. A motionwas made by Jantzer and second by Ayres to accept the annexation of the Glorai Dei Luthern Church and Mr. King into the City of Central Point. Motion carried. The Planning Commission will notify Mr. Dunca, Mr. Charley Moore and Mr. Carl BiVem that the only houses that will get city sewer are the existing houses; that are above the present sewer grade. This is on the property of theirs that is up for annexation. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. by Chairman Harry Tonn, Sec, Jantzer The inspection of the Ivan Skyrmants lot at 8th and Maple was held at 12:15 p.m.,Oct. 28,1964, his request for a variance on front yard set-back was denied. Pbblic Hearing will be held Nov. 24,1964 at the regular Planning Commission Meeting. The Public Hearing will be for Skyrman's duplex without the variance. Sec. Jantzer r
