' Members present: Bruce,N.,Chet Ayres,Harry Tonn,Bob Jantzer,Vic Noel. Minutes of August 25,1964 meeting was read and approved. - A motion was made by Ayres, second Noel to grant a variance at 345 N. Second Street to build a carport up to 21 61, from -the alley. Motion carried. \A plan was presented by Ken Curtis to build a multiple dwelling. on West Pine St. 5 units now and a proposed 6 unit,2 story in.the rear,later. A public hearing will beheld°on this proposal October 26,1964 at our regular meeting. 'Petitions were presented by Paul Duncan and Hazel, Hazel Duncan and by- Charles and Wilda Moore to have their property annexed .to the City of Central. Point. Legal descriptions were presented with the petitions on this annexation.. (Property lies North' of Mazama Street.'). Carl Bivens and Vella Bivens also presented a petition and legal description to be included in this annexation. An on site inspections will be held by the Planning Commission, and grade will be run to see if the existing houses will drain into the existing sewer lines. A motion made by Ayres, second Jantzer to accept a predraft of Section 9 of teh Zoning Ordinance presented by E.R. Bashaw,Attorney,and have him prepare the necessary Notice to have a Public Hearing on the 26th day of October, 1964.Carried. A motion to table the action on the alley vacation was made by Ayres,second by N. Bruce(alley between Front Street and First Street, running North and South on the south side of Pine Street was requested to be vacated. A plan of the city was presented to each member to start work on a preliminary plan for future Commerical and Industrial Zoning. r/ Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. by Chairman Harry Tonn.
