PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING July 28, 1964
Members present: Ayres, Noel, Tonn, Jantzer, Bruce; and Williams.
The minutes of June 30, 1964 were read and approved.
Mr. King and Gloria Dei, Lutheran Church, wish to annex their property
north of Mazama St. into the City of Central Point. As soon as they pre--
sent a plat and legal 'description, this item will be acted upon.
Mrs. Rainy wishes to open a residential business in her home at 734 Man-
zanita to make ceramics and floc kraft and screen painting. She will
circulate a petition and .present .it to the City Council. '
Fred Keist wishes to remodel his property at 5th and Maple and make it
into a duplex. The Planning Commission will have an on-site inspection
of this property to see if it-will conform after tonight's meeting.
The Fence Ordinance Camtittee made a report on their recommended fence
building code. The Planning Commission recommends the following Fence
Ordinance to be adopted by the City-of Central Point'by the City Council.

Height ------.----Rear of set-back line --6 feet. 1
Front of 'set-back- line --4 feet, except at street inter-
sections where fences, walls, or 'hedges shall.be limited
to 32 feet.
Materials --Conventional and durable --(plywood not properly pro-
tected .or of interior grade is not permitted: Bedsprings,
etc are not permitted. Unsightly materials; materials
not in harmony with existing neighborhood structures
are not permitted.
Plans and materials must be approved by the city and work must be in-
spected by the City Building Inspector:
Fee required.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P. M. by Chairman Tom.
