Central Point Planning Commission 25 January 1960
Members Present; Bartley, Noelq Lovejoyq Bruce, Smock
The meeting was opened at 7:35 P.M. by Chairman Dale Bartley. Minutes
of the last meeting were read and approved.
Bartley reported that Paulsen's Thrift Market asked permission to
ezted the front of :the building four inches on to the sidewalk.
He further reported the City Attorney said we couldn't legally grant
permission to do this. It was decidedt therefore, to take no action.
Tonn reported it would take about $500.00 to put the grandstant in shape
at the ballparkq "and about $500.00 for a fence around the property. .
The only other alternative seems to be tear down-the grandstand and
use something temporary. Motion by Lovejoyt .2nd Tonne that we
recommend to the City Council $1200.00 be included in the budget to be
spent on the park for fencing and softball lights. Motion carried.
There was some discussion of water and sewage systemag but no action
was taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
