The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kincaid at 7:30 P.M.
The Chairman requested roll call, which result is recorded above,
and thenrequested reading of minutes of last regular meeting of August
13, 1956. The minutes were read and approved with one minor change
of wording only.
First business for consideration by the Commission was presentation
of two final plats of subdivisions by Mr. M. F. Hoover, the pre-
liminaries of which were approved by the Commission as Extension no.
3 of Lotus Subdivision in regular meeting July 9, 1956; and as
Extention No. 4 of Lotus Subdivision in regular meeting August 13. 1956•
Final plats; presented to the Commissioner are net, however, so identi-
fied and the change was necessary because in final redord farm Extem-
tion l and 2 , now of record, in road lines and continuity of bound-
afies. Therefore.'Extension No. 3 is changed to "Agate Subdivision"
andis approved as` such and "Extension No 4 of Lotus Subdivision" is
changed to "Extension-No. 3 of Lotus Subdivision". Motion to approve
-and to authorize the Chairman and the Secretary to sign the final plats
as provided by law, was made by Commissioner Dysinger, seconded by
a Commissioner Noel and carried by unanimous vote. Signing wad thereupon
carried out and the plate are approved of record.
Thereupon came forward Mr. Jake Myers to request action upon the
matter of his proposed subdivision, this being the matter which was
tabled at the meeting of August 13th. the Commission, following well
established precedent, could not act in any way upon the request
because Mr. ' Myers did not present an acceptable plat or show definite
and precise plans, and because owners of intervening and adjoining
properties had not shown responsive interest toward providing links
between the road proposed by Mr. Myers and the northerly end of- 5th
Street. Mr.' Meyers was so advised, and at the same time shown that
he must meet the established procedure for platting a subdivision
in order to secure consideration by the Commission.
No other business was presented. Accordinglyry motion to adjourn was
offered by Commissioner Edwards, seconded by Commissioner Noel, and
carried. 9:45 P.M.
