Krupp absent. L Dysinger present 0 Obenchain present Meeting was called to order at 7: 50 PM with a quorum present as recorded above. Minutes of the last regular meeting, that held May 14, 1956, were read, considered, and approved without alteration or correction. ' First order of business was actually a continuation of old business inasmuch as it is a presentation of Tentative Plat (revised) of Lotus Subdivision Ext. No. 2 by Mr. M. F. Hoover. The plat is extended in length in an easterly direction of approximately one mile. Tentative Plat (revised) id accepted for record and marked "Exhibit A All 6/11/56 (superseding Exhibit "A"2/13/56) . After discussion of presently recurring problems of street and accessory service area widths and dimensions and recalling oft repeated fruitless discussions and arguments on the subject, and concluding that further discussion would also be fruitless in the absence of definite standards, this Commission goes on record with a respectful_ suggestion to the Common Council that that august body do request the Planning Commission to set up a code of standards for streets, parking strips, sidewalks and any appertaining dimensions which might vary with zone and location. Mr. J. M. Patterson next appeared, requesting audience for a request for permit to alter a dwelling on the northerly half of lots 5 & 6 Block 31 for occupancy as a two family dwelling. In support of his request he presents a petition of four adjoining property owners, asking that such alteration be authorized. It does therefore appear that the proposal• is wholly acceptable under provision'22 Zone 1, Residential District, Ordinance No. 304, and Commissioner Kincaid accordingly moves that permit be granted Mr. Patterson. Seconded by Commissioner Lovejoy and carried. Final business before the Commission was acknowledgment of a petition by residents of the area surrounding Glenn Way for change of Zone. Because the petition is totally lacking in defination of area, boundries, etc. , the petition is returned with the suggestion that these oversights be corrected, whereupon such petition will be given full consideration. There being no further business, motion was made to adjorn by Commissioner Obenchain, seconded by Commissioner Dysinger. Carried. 9:15 PM Leland L. Dysinger
