P. Lovejoy absent Meeting called to order at 7:35 PM by President Askwith. Members of the Commission answered roll call as recorded above, constituting a quorum for conduct of business. Reading of the minutes of .regular meeting held March 14, 1955 were ordered, given, and approved as read without change, addition or correction. In order to expidite the business before the Commission, new business was called for, bringing in Mr. M. F. Hoover with his proposal "Lotus" Subdivision, a parcel of approximately 47 acres about 11/4 miles North, on Crater Lake Highway, of Four Corners intersection. This subdivision as proposed does not meet the recommendations of this Commission in matters of parcel diminsions, setbacks, street widths, etc, but extended discussion with Mr. "cover brought about a good understanding of the benefits resulting from orderly planning in the above features ; whereupon, Mr. Hoover indicated acceptance of the Commissions recommendations and proposes to provide an accurate plat embodying those restrictions as to lot or parcel widths, conditions of sale and of future subdivisions , streets and roads, setbacks, etc . The proposed subdivision plat, marked "Exhibit 1-All is accepted for minute record, with notations. Next business involved discussion, without action, of a certain waste burnee proposed by operators of Mt. Pitt Co. , a business properly located in Light Industry Zone III. It is the sentiment of the Commission, and these minutes are recorded only as such, that the matter is quite well provided for in the Zoned permission. Action by the Commission body was next required in the matter of vacation of the alley within the Motel property belongjng to Davis . Offutt in Block 14. After discussion and argument , Commissioner Krupp moved that the Commission recommend to the Common Council vacation of the alley in question. Seconded by Commissioner Edwards, and carried unanimously. Other matters concerning developing problems of sewer and flood water disposal and1cof certain rumored annexations were tentativly discussed, mainly in thought ©f policy and without any manner of conclusion or dicision. There being no further business for consideration, motion was made by Commissioner Kincaid with second by Commissioner 6benchain that the meeting adjourn. 9: 50 PM. Leland L Dysinger Sec
