Krupp - present Joe Edwards - absent ' Bob Kincaid - present Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by acting president Wm Askwith. Roll call was ordered and showed members present as shown above with Mayor Don Burelson sitting ex�officio as quorum member. Minutes of regular meeting of.-September 2$ were ,read and approved without change. Of old business there was none, save the report that the Bud M. Smith sub-division has been discontinued and dropped, and as of the present will not be developed. Commissioner Kincaid then suggested that the body should elect a. President and at once placed in nomination the name of Wm. Askwith for president. The nonination was accepted. Commissioner Krupp then moved that noninations be closed, seconded by Dysinger and passed. Vote on Mr. Askwith then followed with an unanimous aye vote, and Commissioner Askwith became president:Askwith. New business was then brought up. Mr. Bob C611ins, representing the Mt. Pitt Company, asked consideration of a proposal that West Manzanita Street be vacated either in entirety, or that it be narrowed sufficiently that .loss of- area now occupied by Amy Street would be compensated by a more or less equal area from Manzanita. To this end Commissioner Kincaid moved that the Planning Commission shall- recommend to the Common Council that Manzanita Street .be vacated in entirety , and institute a thorough study of widening of Amy Street as pertaining to industrial development. Seconded by Dysinger and carried by unanimous vote. Also as new business, Mr. Lee Pinkham representing Mr. Geo Gilman, presented preliminary plat of Mr. Gilman's sub-division located in Sec 12 T37S R2W, W.M. , to be dedicated by George Gilman. After due study Commissioner Joe Krupp moved that the preliminary plat be approved as presentedi butwith stipulation that 30 feet building setback be pro- vided on all lots facing proposed and existing roads. Motion seconded by Askwith and carried unaninously. Motion then was made .that having considered and acted on all business presented, the meeting adjourn. This motion by Commissioner Krupp, seconded by Dysinger, Carried. 8:20PM Leland L. Dysinger Sec.
