New business was tl)Pn taken un. First came the matter
of renovnti,n� or remnle7in- the Oi +17 Tjbrrnrv. After insnection
by members nresent. unanimous 9.eci wes reached , that the
Commission reject the proposal and so report to the City
Council.. Basis and reasoning for the opinion is that City
ordinances and codes in effect forbid such renovation.
The City Building Code must be closely Collowpd and of
no small. imnortance would. be th.a necessity of the City abiding
by the same- rules -of oractice as are enforced with individuals.
