I would propose the following information for your consideration in support of allowing the requested 10 foot variances 1 . The City of Central Point Comprehensive Land Use Plan indicates that the Grand Avenue area is planned for multi-family or densely developed housing areas in the coming 20 years. The lot was originally proposed by the Final flap of the Grandview Addition Subdivision 66 years ago . 2 . The existing lots surrounding the proposed lot are 49 feet and 50 feet in width. 3. The granting of the variance may eliminate the foreclosure of the lot by Jackson County for back taxes in November which preserves the enjoyment of the property rights of the petitioners . 4. The granting of the application will provide construction site for a new house that will be priced in the starter home owners range which is a need not being filled presently . No detrimental effects to the health, or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the property , but the value of the area will be increased and because of new ownership, the possibility of the upkeep of the area will be better. a TO : Don Banks , Chairman of Planning Commission & Commissioners FROM : R .
