Those present were Planning Commission Chairman McManama, Paul Emery, Jean
Hillyer, Andy Loveland, Earl Nordby, Rich Thelen, and Bud Waldron. Council-
members present were Mayor Curry, Jim Corliss, Greg Dippel, Dick Halley and
Lloyd Mann.
Others present were'Public Works Supt. V. Capps, Bldg. Official Ritcheyl.and
City Administrator D. Kucera of the City Staff. In the audience were Mitch
Hull, George Johns and Verlyn Thomas.
A. Discussion of Gazebo at the City Park by Jim Corliss who was representing
the 4th of July Committee' brought up the following:
1. A light on the pole is needed
2. A switch for the light is needed
3. Acoustics can be improved with a tarp
4. Shrubbery around Gazebo should be installed
5. Steps with banisters should be provided.
Parks Committee Chairman Greg Dippel is setting up a time for a Parks Commit-
tee meeting for next Thursday night (April 19th and he will bring up these
subjects.
Mitch Hull, Chairman of the 4th of July Committee spoke about the Gazebo and
if plywood materials were used for acoustic material, the cost would be ap.-
proximately $518.00 for the sounding board. Canvas would be more economical. '
Dippel asked if Mitch Hull could be present at the Parks Committee meeting
and present alternative Gazebo plans.
B. Greenfield Circle Subdivision discussion:
1. 32' street with City standard base with street level curbs
And leave Bluegrass Drive in the Subdivision?
2. Can we allow a private street?
3. Can we do a Planned Unit Development?
4. Should we allow a sub-standard private street within Greenfield
Circle Subdivision comparable to existing Dobrot °Way? Approved by vote of
7 to 3 in favor.
5. Given the above, do we do. any improvements to Dobrot Way as a
condition of Greenfield Subdivision; understanding that Greenfield will be
in 'a future Local Improvement District? Vote was 8 Yes to improve; against
2 Noes.
B. Do we want the Subdivider to do the Dobrot Way Improvements-
understanding that the City may provide no in-kind labor? Vote was 10 Yes.
7. Should Bluegrass Drive be eliminated? Vote was 8 Yes and 2 No. '
8. Do we want a 55' radius cul-de-sac? Yes 9 and No 1.

B. Greenfield Circle Subdivision (continued)
9. Do we want a park in Greenfield Subdivision? Yes , No
10-. Do we want a pedestrian way from Scenic Village Subdivision? May
have to condemn. Vote was Yes 1 and Noes 7.
11. Can we use sewer easement for pedestrian easement if possible, or
ask property owners if they will allow pedestrian traffic over the sewer ease-
- ment? Yes , No
12. Does Developer fence the park and accessway abutting his Subdivision
property only? 8 Yes, 1 No.
13. Developer must provide a 15' paved accessway to the park? Yes 6,
No 4.
14. Do. we provide turn-around in Park? Yes 0 - No 8.
