City Hall Council Chambers
24 March 1981
Chairman Hillyer called the meeting to order at 7 P.M.
Present were Commissioners George Freeman, Theda Havice, Jean Hillyer,
Pat Himmelman, Dewayne Hood, Louise Novasad and Dana Peters.
Also present were Mayor Don Jones and Councilmember Donna Higginbotham;
Citizens Advisory Chairman Grace Russell, and City Staff members David
Kueera, City Administrator, R.J. Ritchey, Dave Penicook and Hon Hough
of the Building/Planning Department.
Planner Ron Hough presented proposed revisions of Municipal Code Chapter
17.04; Title—Purpose, Chapter 17.08 Definitions, Chapter 17.12 Zoning
Districts. He also presented and reviewed a March 24, 1981 Summary of
the proposed revisions to Chapters 17.16 through 17.53 Specific zones,
and Chapter 17.60.180 Rome Occupations.
The Planning.Commission made comments and changes to the proposals.
Ron Hough next presented a copy of the proposed zoning map which follows
the Comprehensive Plan.
The Planning Commission reviewed the map and it was generally agreed that
the proposal was proper.
